Programs and Services





FAMILY WELFARE PROGRAM

1. Assistance to families in Crises Situation (AICS) - financial assistance provided to indigent families and individuals in Crisis Situation

a. Medical Assistance - amount vary on the type of illness and with counterpart from the recipient

b. Transport and Food Assistance - financial assistance provided to client needing transportation expenses for medical check-up in Cebu City, fare in attending emergency matters and for drop-in clients

c. Burial Assistance - provided coffins and 1 sack of rice to the bereaved families





REQUIREMENTS

Medical Assistance

a. Original copy of Medical Certificate/ Medical Abstract from a Hospital

b. Doctor's request, billings/official receipt and result for Laboratory/ Diagnostic Tests

c. Resita and Official Receipt of medicines purchased



Burial Assistance

1. Original Copy of Death Certificate


2. Marriage Counseling - Counselling given to Married Couple, VAWC victims and specifically husband and wife relationship


3. Pre-Marriage Counselling - One day orientation program with various sessions to would-be couple applying for marriage license will be conducted every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month


4. Parent Effectiveness Sessions - 9 modular sessions on Effective Parenting to parents of the Day Care Children


CHILDREN WELFARE PROGRAM

1. Counselling to children who were abused physically, sexually and other forms of abuse;


SENIOR CITIZEN PROGRAM

1. Issuance of Senior Citizen ID and Purchased Booklet (for medicines and groceries)

2. Socialization and Senior Citizen during monthly general assembly, anniversary, Elderly Week Celebration and Year-end Evaluation

3. Enrolment to Social Pension Program (Funds from DSWD; 500 pesos monthly pension to 1,640 Senior Citizen beneficiaries)

4. One-time financial assistance to Centenarian amounting 10,000 pesos


PERSONS WITH DISABILITY

1. Issuance of PWD ID and Purchased Booklet (medicines and groceries)

2. Socialization of PWDs during monthly meetings, anniversary, NDPR week celebration and Year-end Evaluation

3. Financial Assistance to PWDs needing medical assistance


WOMEN WELFARE PROGRAM

1. Counseeling to abused women

2. Referral of women needing psychological examination in Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center - Women and Child Center

3. Referral to police for blotter and affidavit taking


SOLO PARENT PROGRAM

1. Issuance of Solo Parent ID for unwed mother, single father/mother, widow/widower, abandoned clients

2. Organization of Solo Parent in the barangay

3. Advocacy program


YOUTH PROGRAM

1. Organization of Out of School Youth and In-school

2. Advocacy program

3. Team building activities


EMERGENCY SHELTER ASSISTANCE

ISSUANCES

1. Certificate of indigency for medical assistance, scholarship, LCR requirements and among others

2. Social Case Summary for medical and hospitalization expenses, laboratory tests and procedures, and all other medical related expenses

3. Social Case Summary for College Scholarships

4. Referrals to PCSO and other government institutions
